Jim Abbott, originally a native of Windsor has been living in the Charlotte area since the fall of 1993. He attended Winthrop University and played baseball for the Eagles from 1993-1996. After obtaining a bachelors of finance degree, Jim opted for a career in a a field where he could help people. In 2001, after spending 4 years in home renovations, Jim decided he could help more people with their dreams in custom home building. With a young family, Jim made the leap, and has been extremely successful since.

Abbott Construction values each customer more than most, and this is shown in Jim's refusal to take on more business than his crews can handle. Averaging 1.5 houses per year assures Abbott Construction makes YOU the priority.
